What helps us answer faster
- Your macOS version and the app version, both shown in Photo Transfer › About.
- The iPhone or iPad model and its iOS version.
- What you did, what you expected and what happened instead.
- For a finished transfer, the report the app shows at the end: it lists every file that landed and every file that did not.
Questions about a purchase
I lost my license key
Ask for it again on the License page of this site with the email address you paid with; it arrives within a few minutes. If that address is gone too, write to support with the date of the purchase.
I want to move the app to another Mac
A personal license covers all the Macs you use, up to 3 active at once. Deactivate the old one in Settings › License, then enter the key on the new one. If the old Mac is gone, write to support and the slot is freed for you.
I bought in the Mac App Store and want the direct version
Open the App Store version once and choose Restore Purchases. Then, in the direct version on the same Mac, use Settings › License › Bought in the App Store? It reads the receipt on your Mac and unlocks. Nothing is sent anywhere.
I want my money back
Direct purchases are refunded in full within 30 days, no questions asked. App Store purchases are refunded by Apple. The refund policy has the details.
Before the first transfer
The FAQ answers the usual questions: what the free limit counts, where the files go, what the app sends to the internet and which Macs it runs on.
Security and privacy
The privacy policy lists everything the app stores and sends. Found a security problem? Write to the same address with "Security" in the subject and you get a reply before anything else.
